Getting Started (iOS + macOS)

WashiNote works across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. You can write notes, tag content, and connect related ideas in one workflow.

What AI Knowledge does for you

AI Knowledge continuously compiles your regular notes into searchable knowledge pages, so answers become faster, more stable, and easier to verify.

Higher hit rate

Your notes are consolidated by topic, helping retrieval hit key facts with less noise.

More stable answers

Summary and reflection queries prioritize knowledge pages before raw notes.

Traceable sources

AI answers can show whether evidence comes from knowledge pages or original notes.

Local-first workflow

The knowledge pipeline follows your local retrieval workflow and supports manual rebuild.

FAQ

Why do I see Knowledge pages in notes?

Knowledge pages are AI-generated index/topic/log notes used to improve retrieval quality. You can hide them from the notes list in Settings.

Can I hide Knowledge pages from note lists?

Yes. Turn off “Show Knowledge Pages in Notes” in Settings. They will be excluded from the main notes list and related tags.

How do I rebuild AI Knowledge?

Open Settings and use “Rebuild Knowledge Now”. The app will regenerate Index, Log, and topic pages from existing notes.

Does this support both iOS and macOS?

Yes. Both platforms use the same core model and synchronization path, so your note structure and AI knowledge stay aligned.

I upgraded to Pro. How do I restore purchase?

Go to Settings and tap/click “Restore Purchases” on the same Apple ID account used for the original purchase.

iCloud sync looks delayed. What can I do?

Check that iCloud sync is enabled in Settings on both devices, keep the app active for a short time, and confirm both devices use the same Apple ID.
